That is a very nice combination for your car CB....it'll idle nice, make lots of vacuum for power brakes and be easy to tune. Plenty of power too !  :2thumbs:

I would use TTI headers and a 2.5in exhaust system with an x-pipe and a good straight-thru style muffler....magnaflow or ultraflow.  :yesnod:

should I run a 650 or 750CFM carb?
stall speed is 1800, propper stall for this set up?
3.23 ratio, better then 3.55 or 3.91 gears?
thanksĀ  :2thumbs:

The Proform carbs are bigger than advertised.....that 650cfm PF carb will flow over 700 cfm so it's ideal for this 340. The stock converter will match up well with that Isky cam. With the taller tires the 3.23 gearing will be a little on the small side....i'd prefer to run a 3.91 with a 28in tire for more torque multiplication and fun.  :icon_smile_big:

You could try the 3.23's and see how you like it....then swap in something (deeper) later if you want more off the line acceleration.  ;)

I didnt see anything for chargers from magnaflow, do you have to piece it together yourself or did I miss it on the website?
And speaking of gearing, what can you expect top-end and mpg wise in 3.55's vs 3.91's?

Mine came with 3.23s and I cant decide what to do with them. I want the car to be quick off the line but I also don't want it be screaming and chugging gas at 70 mph.
I was recommended 3.55s...
Any opinions?
