Ho do you mount this insulator on wire/alt stud ? they did come attached originally on to wire itself mking one piece with eyelet terminal, but dunno how to mount the new one

Put it over the stud first with the slot facing "out" so the wire can be put on, then put the wire terminal on, then the nut, and tighten.
