TTi have different headers for 383 and 440 while other manufacturers use the same partnumbers for R and RB engines.
Does this mean that 440 TTi headers will not physically fit on 383 cars?  :scratchchin:

Phisically fit, but being 440 a little bit taller engine, the colector will be placed lower or higher. Also inner or outer because being taller makes it wider... about 1" difference I think all around... that is something to consider about your ride height, Starter motor kind, distance with inner fenders, steering shaft ect...

I'm not an expert, is just what I have in mind about engine specs what makes me think about
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

terrible one

Agreed. They make them differently for the two in order for the best, most snug fit you can get depending on application. And for the price they want for them, they damn well should be doing that.

Well, I guess it will be try and error. Have new Hooker Super competition on my Challenger 383 and swap to a 440 engine.
