I've been trying to figure out what type of seat covers to order and I can't find a a clear answer. The TRM code says C6X which seems to mean black or maybe black with charcoal....I don't know. Is there a site that lists the berakdown and meaning? andy440.com is a great site but doesn't go into enough detail to answer this. :brickwall:

Thanks!

Might help to know what exterior color you have....this way at least you'll know what the recommended color was.

The TRM code says C6X

C = Charger Trim Grade
6 = Vinyl Bucket Seats
X = Black

I don't think there's a comprehensive decode-every-letter website out there - but if you have a particular question like that, I'm sure there are folks on here who can help out.

There a a lot of color and trim books in the Hamtramck Historical library. They may help.

Yep! Either code 8 or 9 would signify stripe delete (go to Jim Shine's website http://www.jimshine.com/tag%20info/68tagdecode.htm) to see the decoder).  ;)

No. My assumption is your car has the standard black stripe which was not coded on the tag. A stripe delete car does carry a 9 code. :Twocents:

QuoteA 9 would signify stripe delete

As your tag doesn't have the 9...it came with a stripe. Since there is no stripe code, it came with the black stripe.

 :cheers: Thanks!

I can see evidence of a stripe  and I knew the seat pleats were either silver or grey (charcoal) but after 38 years in ABQ, stuff got faded. :-\
