thanks could you tell me what the "Basic Group" package consist of??

According to the '69 Dealer Data Book, for a '69 Charger the A04 Charger Radio Group package would consist of :
R11 Radio (upgrade to R13, R21 or R22 still available)
S77 Power Steering
B51 Power Brakes
J51 3-speed Wipers
W15  Deep-dishwheel covers (upgrade wheels/covers still available)
G33  LH Remote rear-view mirror

You was right about the typos my tag is hard to read it pretty rusty. I wanted to have it decoded right before I had new one made. What is VON??

VON (a/k/a S.O. or Special Order Number) is the Vehicle Order Number.  Normally, this number was taken straight from the pre-numbered sales order forms given to each Dealership by the Regional Sales Manager.  Some vehicles' VONs were reassigned - for example the Charger 500s, Daytonas, 69.5 SixPack 'Runners and 'Bees, Sunroof Chargers, etc.  Most VONs stayed the same.  By having this number on the Fender Tag, it allowed the paperwork to be matched up to the car specifically built in response to the Dealer's order.

What is body belt molding this is things I dont thing my car had on it when I bought it..

The body belt moulding is what runs on the top edge of the door, right at the point where the door sheet metal meets the door glass.  It basically runs from the A-pillar back to the C-Pillar where it connects to the driprail.  This was Chrysler's sadistic attempt to brand all Charger owners with a burn mark from putting their arm out the window on a sunny summer's day...   :P

Are you going to restore it strictly by the tag or do you have other plans for it.

chargerkid01

the car has since bee stripped all new metal and primed I am now at a loss what should I do next??

chargerkid01

Mostly by the tag but I was thinking some safer up grades like disk brakes

Ghoste

Well, I'd say you have a fairly wide open opportunity at this point to make the car into whatever you want so I can understand you feeling at a loss for the next move.  I have the feeling the car will lead you into something perfect for you.  Keep us updated.
