F8 is cross referenced into Ditzler #2514.  I actually had my local auto paint store mix me up a 13 oz. aerosal can for a garage project I wanted to do in the original color.

Make no mistakes...A green Charger with green interior is a lot of freak'n green.  Thankfully I've got the white top!

The original color has many, many personalities.  It looks completely different depending upon the light.  The gold metal flake really pops with the sun.  If it's a low sun, it looks different still.  If it's cloudy, it just looks monotone dark green.

I don't think I would have personally ordered any car double green, but 35 years ago, times were different.  Mine still wears the original factory paint, interior, and top so I aint changing it.  It is what it is.

Here's a few more pics.

I have never been a fan of green cars but after seeing these ones and giving the color a good look over , I think I really like that color :2thumbs:

When you use a basecoat/clearcoat combo the color really comes to life. The manufacturer warns that the paint appears 25% brighter than the old enamel mix. In the sunlight it has a gold backfleck....very nice....

the spring green 66-1 on my 68 became F8 for 69 and on.
