All it needs is the valve covers and the ignition parts.

What do you think?

terrible one

Looks pretty flippin' sick man. VERY nice. With the aluminum heads and all I'm wondering about what's inside? Throw the old school Mickey T's on that bitch.

I actually have some that need to be restored. They came off my 383, will they fit on the 440?

Now I just need to get the dang body work done, block sanding, etc... oh and then I need to figure out what suspension I'm gonna go with, ... pretty much everything. Yeah, I did this backwards. I got the engine done before anything else. I figure every time I see the engine sittin' there staring at me it'll motivate me to get it done sooner. :D

The valve covers will interchange between the 383 and 440. Great looking engine there! :2thumbs:

Sorry, I didn't see your post before.

You know, I'm not sure (don't remember) the specs at the moment, and the paper I had it all written down on disappeared.

Here's what I do know...

Edelbrock 800 cfm carb

Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold

Edelbrock Aluminum Heads 88cc chamber

I'm not an edelbrock lover, I promise. It just turned out this way

Ignition system hasn't been purchased yet, but I think I'm going with a crane setup (any recommendations?)

Not sure on the water pump and oil pump, but I'm switching those out anyway so it doesn't matter.

I forgot the info he gave me on the oil pan.

I had the cam specs written down, but that paper is gone. I'll get the specs again tomorrow.

So basically all I know for sure is that the top end is all edlebrock.  ;D
