Interlock system wasn't installed down here in Venezuela. having a 74 and finally after get all the stuff required ( wiring, reset button, sensors, seatbelts, buzzer etc... ) want to get it working but:

At first instance with a rally underdash wiring I got from Canada, then of course I got a canadian control unit ( orange ) dunno remmeber the PN at this moment, what doesn't control the interlock function, just the buzzers and advertising lights. Works like a swiss clock!

Then got an USA unit recently, Green one PN 3746658. Just got a few moments ago mounted but I still can start the engien without fasten the seatbelt and not even lights on the seatbelt light or buzzer.

Do I still have the wrong unit ? or is this one damaged ? REALLY WANT TO GET the right unit.

I know you'll be saying I'm insane trying to get the interlock control functio... well YES I AM.

PLEASE any guidance about this will be great and if you have some around that works like must be please I want it.

Beside this two what I have, I have seen light blue units and tan units. As far I know Tan are for manual trannies ( I saw it with PN on an ebay auction and checked on my parts manual catalog ), so maybe I have to get the light blue one ?

I have to be honest with you Nacho, I think you're nuts for trying to put an interlock system in. I remember how much trouble we went through in the '70s disabling those systems.

Nacho-RT74

if you think that works kinda a safety antitheft system too, then is not that nut LOL... have you seen or thought on some thief fasten the seatbelt ? LOL.

beside that, I'm agree on safety with seatbelts. I can't see why comfort and safety are not normally in hands with Performance.

I always wear a seatbelt, but I'm a big believer in simplicity. The fewer things that can go wrong, the fewer things that will go wrong.
