The shooter killed himself. He should of just did that first before going to the school. :P

The news just stated that the police know the identity of the gunman, but they haven't released it yet.   Earlier the news reported that he was a student from a different college.    It was just reported that one of the victims has died.

They're now saying 5 students dead, 16 injured, and one more dead if you count the shooter. (I don't)  I think Devil, a member here, is a student at NIU, isn't he?  Hopefully he's ok...

EDIT-- I see he was active about 2 hours ago, so I guess he's alright...

Hey guys, I go to NIU and was on campus for the shooting.  It was quite a few hours, but if you have any questions, let me know.  I'll answer them the best I can.

There was a shooting threat at my school set for January 16th. Somebody said they were coming to school on Jan.16th and killing abunch of kids. I didnt show up that day..because of incidents like this.

If we stayed home everytime we had a threat, we would never go back  :eyes:  :brickwall:

As of this morning the death toll is up to 6 students now. And the gunman. :icon_smile_dissapprove:
