G'day guys,

my 71 charger needs new lower control arm bushes and radius rod bushes. Just wondering what the concensus is here on the type of bushes I should use, and who you recommend.

Thanks

for comfort, rubber
for performance poly

I wouldn't change comfort, specially because the bad conditions roads here. My votes are rubber.

Lot's of threads on here about bushings. Some do a combo of both for a better ride.

terrible one

It seems that this will always be an open debate as everyone has their opinions on the subject, all of which differ from one another. I myself went with Moog rubber all the way around, except for my ball joint boots which are polyurethane because that's what the parts store had.  :shruggy:

On my Australian Mopars I've been led to believe that a good combo was rubber for the upper control arms (because they're a little more "giving"), and poly on the lowers because they need to be hard. I guess that's the way I'll go.
