carpet tack strips

Hey gang...
Is it difficult to pull up the carpet along the wall and replace it? I'm wishing to routing the cable for our TV along the wall and it would be a perfect situation... But, before I start a' pullin' on the carpet, I wanna make sure I'm not going to screw something up on this brand new house.. From the looks of it as the house was coming together, it's the typical carpet with border tack strips.....

no it is not hard to do at all. and you can't mess anything up unless you catch abase board that it gets hung up on. most carpet is still the old tack strip and lay it. not a big deal. i pull mine when i need to for cables, surround sound etc. never had a problem
