The breahter valve on the valve cover, does that just pull straight off? Is there a filter in there?

I got a question too! MY 318 has a PCv on the drivers side, and the other side has a  breather with a line to the air box. Can i replace that with a standard breather? or will that hurt my engine?

IS A FILTER bny itself in fact... can be cleaned up and reused
