Joined the single club again K??

Yep, Not that I didn't enjoy certain aspects of "not" being single but the last one I was with had some serious anger within and I always seemed to be the one who took the brunt of it when it came out. So I felt it was best for both to go our seperate ways.

I'm sending 8 roses and a poem to my ex... 2 of the roses are made in ceramic what we make at home and if you don't get really close wouldn't notice

In Spanish, what if you really care what does says, will translate :D

The meaning of the 2 ceramic roses is that 2 roses what won't die for a love what will be there forever... The poem is in relationship with that and the rest of roses.

I got a call from the local classic rock station this am.

They have a contest that you had to submit a story and they would help get you out of the doghouse. If you're a finalist, you get $25 dinner goft certificate to this nice Italian place and a gift certificate to a local candy shop. If you win the grand prize, $100 jewelers gift certificate and they will deliver a dozen roses to her.

They asked for the address where my wife will be. I think I may be in!  :2thumbs:

This was my entry, a true story.

Tell us how you got in the Doghouse:

I have red sox season tickets that we split up with a
couple other guys. This year, when we split them up,
my wife, Deb, asked me to get 8/14. I got them.

In the beginning of August, I told her that I was
taking my father to a game in August and if I took him
on 8/14, would that be ok?

She said it was.

On 8/14, I am sitting in the Beer Works with my father
before the game and I get a text message from my wife.
It reads: "Happy Anniversary".

Oops.

I look at my father and say, "Today is my wedding anniversary.
He says, "Gee, I'm really sorry, I forgot." I said, "I did too." He asks me, "How many years have you been married now?"
I said, "dunno, hold on."

I text my wife and ask her how many years we've been married. She texts me back, "You're a piece of work, honey."

To top if off, 2 years earlier, I planned a roadtrip
with my son to the Rock Hall of Fame and an Indians
game during our anniversary as well. I got the same
text message that day and I swore to her that I
wouldn't forget the date again.....

I think I will have it tattooed somewhere on myself.

That's freakin' hilarious, did the Sox at least win that day?   :smilielol:

I have the opposite problem, but since it's the opposite, it isn't really a problem. My wife is the one who forgets dates for everything. I think we were together at least 8 or 9 years before she finally remembered what date my birthday was on.   She always knew it was in December, but had to ask me which date every year. The same thing happens with our anniversary, & she has to ask me how long we've been married if it comes up. (Yes, I always know.)

Dates & holidays were never a big issue with us, so it's never a problem if either one of us forgets a gift or a card. The only anniversary date that has a bigger value to me, is the one when she asked me out initially. I usually just wish her a happy one on that day, but this year I forgot, LOL.

This year, I got my wife a "pajamagram".....Nice Pair of Jammies, matching slippers, box of chocolates, card, etc..... It was delivered on time, arriving this morning around 10 am. My wife happened to be in the shower when UPS arrived, so the driver left the box by the back door. By the time my wife found the box, it was in a hundred pieces all over the back yard! Our new dog, a Border Collie/Australian Shepard mix, decided it was her new toy and shredded it all over the yard. :icon_smile_angry: Needless to say, puppy is in the "doghouse" today! Its kinda funny, but I hate the fact that my $100 gift to my wife got turned into a chewtoy!

Oh well, shit happens.  :RantExplode: :D

Keep an eye on your puppy! it could get really sick and/or die from the chocolate!!!!!!!! :yesnod: Nice try though!
I gave everybody in the house a gift and cards, but I got nuttin!!!!!! :'( :'( :'( I think i'll go cry now! :'(

My wife found what was left of her gift. I'm out on the road working. I talked to her a few hours ago....she went out to dinner w/her girlfriends and her mom. Needless to say the whole place was laughing out loud when she told the story. :smilielol:

They'll be no scooby snacks for that bad dog for awhile! :yesnod: :2thumbs:
