Anyone here ever heard of or dealt with Mo' Muscle Cars in Conroe, TX?

I'm just about ready to get my charger media blasted so I'm now trying to find a place that does a good job and won't rip me off. I'd prefer a place out of San Antonio, but the only person I found there does it out in the open (Mo Muscle uses a booth) and the guy in SA won't be able to spray any primer on it afterwards (Mo Muscle will).

Has anyone ever dealt with them? Or does anyone know of a place in South Texas (or anywhere south of central texas) that does a good job and won't try to screw me over? I'm looking for a place that cares and takes pride in their work and want to actually make the customer happy.

Mods, I couldn't think of where best this thread should go, if it doesn't belong here I apologize.

Have you tried a google search? My apologies if you have but I just did and found quite a few in the San Antonio area. There are a few clubs in the area also and they could be a huge help. I know there are members from San Antonio on this board and maybe they will chime in. Good luck!   :2thumbs:

What words did you google? I tried "Soda blast san antonio" and only found SoTex Soda Blast. THat's the guy that has his equipment on a trailer, he doesn't have a booth. That's fine, except I can't have it done in my driveway (renting from the city) and I have no other place to get it done. Plus, he'd have to drive 150 miles to come do the work.

It shouldn't matter where they blast your car, inside or outside. as long as they do a good jog and hit everything well. and don't cut corners. just go to the shop's and look at there work.

Try "automobile media blast San Antonio Texas" on google. And keep trying different combinations. Good luck!

My only experience so far was bad.  I drove all the way up to Conroe from Stafford (1 hour) and the guy who was supposed to give me an estimate was gone.  This was AFTER I called them and told them I was on my way up there.  I'll give them another chance, though, since they are one of the few places around Houston that has performed work on Mopars.

Yea, I'm getting sick of that saying because quite often it's a load of BS. I know plenty of people who have paid way too much for what they got and even more who paid way too much only to get less than what they started with. And I've known people who have paid less than they could or maybe should have and got better parts and/or service than if they had paid someone else three times more. So no, you don't always get what you pay for. Price is not always a good indication of quality. Reputation goes much further IMO.

I would not recommend soda blasting because of the difficulty in neutralizing the residue after the blasting.  If it is not fully cleaned off, chances are great that you will have a big problem later...

I am going to have my Charger plastic media blasted.  Here is a thread on Moparts that I started last December:

Here is some information on media blasting types:

If you still want to soda blast, here is a company very near San Antonio which says their place or yours:

Here is where I am taking the Charger 500 for plastic media blasting in Irving, Texas:
