Anyone done a 69 Camaro chin spoiler on a 70 Charger?

I went on and ordered a plastic 69 Cumarrow chin spoiler today. I want to put it on my 70 Charger, to shamelessly copy Mr.Angry and a couple of other members here.

I see you guys 68 and 69s with them, but I havent seen a 70 with one. I was wondering if the curve of the valence was any different and cause this not to work. I just ordered a brand new one. Worst case if it doesn't work I'll put it on my 68 when its done.

Anyone done this to a 70? Pics are a plus.

The curve should work I have a 68, 69 camaro chin they are somewhat different year to year  . I am in the process of making a carbon fiber one with red kevlar strands...... Yea, I do not want just a black plastic piece......

Cool, any progress pics? That would look really good, especially on a pro touring or road race style ride.

Back in the 80's or 90's there was a Direct Connection ad with a 69 Charger with that spoiler . I have it here somewhere .

Actually I just have the fabric, I have blue kevlar, and red kevlar with carbon fiber,  I also have 4x4 8.3 oz carbon fiber.  I have to make the mold that I want for the part yet.  So, no pics yet.  I am in the process of making the negative/plug to make it.  A lot of work for one piece but I have nothing else to do right now.... :shruggy:

Not sure about the 70s. I am putting one on my '69 though.

Well I did it. I'll try and put pics up soon, but I'm happy with it. Especially for the price.

But I bet having GM parts on my Charger will slow me down 2 tenths at the dragstrip though.

I still have GM in my soul, and would love to make a smart butt comment, but the last time I did that on this Mopar site, whoa boy  :nono:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.
