For instance, what in the name of heaven is a Yaris?  Worse than that a Scion.  Everytime I see one of those ugly boxes on wheels, I have this urge to ram it.  Thank goodness Mopars have at least kept names that make some kind of sense.  Oh, another one, Elantra - what in the heck is that?  Does it bug you as much as it does me? :flame:

Today, Honda Elements suck more than usual for me. What a butt-ugly excuse for a vehicle. :icon_smile_angry:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

For me it would be the Toyota Prius. $#!*y name, and a $%#&y looking car.

Seems like every modern car's name is meant to sound like a small tourist-trap town in the Southwest.  Be it a real or imaginary one.

Though the car's name was contrived with no meaning, Chevrolet researchers reportedly found the word in a French dictionary as variation of informal speech (slang) for "friend", "chum", or "companion."In some automotive periodicals before official release, it was code-named "Panther", however, the project designation for the Camaro was XP-836 and some early GM photos show the final Camaro body labeled "Chaparral".Automotive press asked Chevrolet product managers "What is a Camaro?", and they were told it was "a small, vicious animal that eats Mustangs".

I like Camaros a LOT myself. Mainly the '67 thru '91 Camaros. After that, I thought they got ugly. My favorite years are the '70 thru '81 Camaros. One thing for sure, there easier and cheaper to restore because of a lot more repro parts. Like I said before, as much as I love Mopar muscle, with the prices of them the way they are, and my income being what it is, I can't see myself ever owning one again. But I could afford to restore a Camaro, Trans Am or Monte Carlo SS.

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

I don't have enough time to mention them all, I'm very picky.

But if I had to pick just one to type here... it would be an AMC Ambassador

Sorry for anyone that has or likes them, but i've had nightmares of that thing sleeping under my bed  :'(

Thats another one that I used to own. I had a 71 Ambasador Police Interceptor that had the 401 Interceptor engine in it. My Dad hated that car because it was the only thing that he couldn't beat with his 69 Newport Custom with a 383. As bad as I hate to admit it, that 401 would eat up that 383 for lunch and spit the remains out the exhaust.

My least favorite cars were most anything made by GM during the 70's. Man, some of those big ol' Pontiacs, Olds, Caddys, Chevys and Buicks were hard on the eyes. Just watching Smokey & the Bandit last week and remembered Jackie Gleasons patrol car when they were new, what a waste of design paper and metal....If not for the 68-72 Novas, early GTOs, Malibus and Camaros, GM would have been a complete waste....Newer cars I dont like: those boxy things (Scions?)  :eek2:

I think it was version one of Chrysler's turbine car. Just kidding, I googled ugly cars and that popped up.
A Fact of Life: After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF.........

That came to mind when I first saw it, but i couldnt imagine somebody chopping one of those up. I worked with a guy one time that claimed to have been one of the guys that designed and built the turbine car. I don't know how far to believe him but he did seem to have a lot of information on it.

Alright -- I've always wanted to tell this joke. (I always planned to call Click & Click on Car Talk to ask them, but I guess I can go ahead and let the cat out of the bag.

What car is emphatically not a car when you put the word "car" behind its make and model?

Can I just tell you now?

Man, I'm with ya on that one! What's worse is trying to sell parts for one of those turds...they're literally made of leftover parts VW had collected through the years of Beetles, Vans, Type-2's, etc. Just an absolute hemorroid of an automobile.
