Not sure yet if I would put it back on or not,if I don't,it's not a big deal to add it later ,but if I put it on and don't like it,I'm stuck with it.Love reg cudas with vinyls but with the T/A cars the hood is already black contrasting with the body color, therefore the roof being black also is just to much for me.I've got time to decide.

Congrats to you, you must be livin' right these days! :icon_smile_cool:
You didn't have to pay $400 or anything equally rediculous for it, did you? Regardless, it's cool that you were able to obtain another piece of it's pedigree. :2thumbs:

BTW, any pics of the car? :icon_smile_big:

          A bank breaking $56.00 !!!!!
SWEET!! :icon_smile_big:
Looks like you've got a decent supply of projects in there, good lookin' cars.  Is that a '70 GSX dressed in yellow?  :scope:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Wow Paul you really stepped in some stuff as of late...have you been playing the lotto as well?  Great news.

I recently got into a tift with a seller on eBay selling Broadcast Sheets...long story short these guys are only in it for the money...they don't care if someone uses these documents for possible illegal purposes.  At least your seller cut the VIN# off to try to avoid illegal practices but whatever....

Great find!

What a unique combo - EV2 AAR with a vinyl, bench seat and column shift.  It seems that most of the AAR's you see have no vinyl.  I love the column shift because it just doesn't seem it should naturally be there since the car was intended and designed for the Trans Am circuit.  I think the column shift makes it stand out from all the other floor shifted AAR's out there.

Were they selling broadcast sheets to Chargers Chris? I don't recall seeing any on there lately. Must have missed those. I usually bid on fender tags and sheets to Chargers, but have yet to win many. None for any 500's or anything yet.

Man... don't talk to me about people taking fender tags off cars!!!  :flame:

Though an e-body could have come with a bench seat, this is not one,I think you are reading to fast and not seeing the C55 code which is for bucket seats. Also,RT/SE the V88 code next to the V1X code on your tag is for stripe delete,NOT vinyl top delete. :nana:

Thanks Galen Jr. for the fender tag clarification.  Now a true purist, who is pure like the mountain snow, would definitely keep that AAR 100% original.   :D

You're right,as I also think a true purist would definitely keep a triple black 69 RT/SE 4spd,dana, stripe delete car original without deleting or ADDING any options.

Wow! What a great find! I hate it when the tags are gone off cars. Without the build sheet your screwed if your trying to restore it to original. That is only a recent bad habit, not so long ago a car could be stripped clean in a junk yard but still have it's fender tag. I think that a lot of times people are taking it off to keep it safe, but manage to lose it over the years. Then they decide to sell the car. It needs to stay with the car.  MsMopar

Thanks MsMopar, but don't know what you mean by being screwed if trying to restore to original?Having the fender tag verifys all the colors and options the car has, amongst that the car is still all together to see what it had.I think there are more cars out there that do not have their BS's,as to the ones that do.My car is in the transamcuda registry, and at this time they have approx 140 or so BS's that are available to the rightful owners with proof of ownership.I found a mint BS in my car,but it was for a FJ6 4psd car,and was 140 #'s down from my vin, like anyone of us should do they have it on file for the owner of it.Alot of the AAR's have had the wrong BS put in them,as they were coming down the line,if a worker saw that my car was to have a black int,he grabbed a set of seats on the floor and shoved them in,they are not going to look at the BS to see if it was right. This is why most of the cars with say red or blue  int had the correct BS's,as they could have been only that set sitting there waiting to be installed.

MsMopar

I was very lucky that as rough as my 500 was, it still had the fender tag and build sheet in it. I also count my blessings that even though my numbers matching engine was separated from the body for 10 years, it stayed with the numbers matching tranny. I don't think any less of a car that is missing the BS or tag but it is nice to have them. Many people have cars that were always in good shape, my cars usually start out pretty rough with a lot of parts missing.  ::) MsMopar

FANTASTIC, Paul!!!!  :notworthy:

That is awesome news! At least something worked out right for a change, eh?  :2thumbs:

Interesting discusion about fender tags.  Aren't the only things that make the car special from the factory the 'S' & the 'J'  in BS23J0B.......?
Those letters are in the VIN.  Anything else, like a fender tag, build sheet etc is just gravy.  I like gravy :icon_smile_big:
Congradulations :2thumbs:

Yeah, my tags & build sheets are tucked away & my cars are registered too.  I can't imagine selling - but if I did:  the stuff for the car goes
with the car.

Wow,  what are the chances?? Great find. I wish I could find my BS and F-Tag. The guy I bought my 65' from says he gave ME the F-tag with the title. I was in such a hurry to load the car up I made sure I had the title and didn't think to check the tag. I knew he had it and didn't MAKE SURE I received it..  :icon_smile_dead:

Great find....    :2thumbs:
