Ok, as you all know, I have a 1967 Firebird.. Last year, my dad and I installed some Hi-Jackers on the rear to gite it an agressive stance.. I want to put some bigger rear shackles on it but I am having a hard time finding them.. Any advice? Hopefully this summer we will be pulling the rear out and installing a Safe-T-Track (posi for the illiterate) and we will also be swapping the stock 2.56 gears for some 4.11's.. How much do you think a swap like that would cost? We also want to put a 200-R4 (4 speed auto with OD) in it.. Also, since the car already puts out around 360HP, would it be a good idea to install some subframe connectors and multileaf springs with traction bars?

And the final question, will a 15x10 wheel with 295's fit in the rear? We currently have 235's on all 4 quarners..

I wish I could answer your questions for you.  As much as I like Firebirds, I know very little about the mechanicals of them.  You would do much better asking those questions on a Firebird forum.   Bob

'67-'68 Firebirds are my favorite GM car. :drool5: :drool5:   :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:

I know basically everything that fits a Camaro fits a FireBird, so maybe some GM shackles? :shruggy:
Subframe connectors are always a good idea.
