(W21) -   14-inch (A, B & E-Body) or 15-inch (B & E-Body) Rallye wheels

I'll see if I have anything on 41

Ghoste

I think by model W41, GG means that it's for what I indicated, a four door Coronet.

JohnnyBee

No W41 in the price guide book, but I'll keep looking.

if you are asking on the Vin number, Coronet 4 door sedan should be WL41

Ghoste

Galens White books don't break it down like that though.  In the section 1970 RT/SE is referring to, that part number is listed next to some other columns and one of those columns designates model but excludes the trim level, meaning that in this case, the W41 is showing that jack hook part number 2962691 is used in a Coronet four door sedan.

I'm going to still insist that the context in which Galen is using this code, it's meant to convey the fact that this particular jack hook applies to a four door Coronet.

A Coronet four door sedan.

I agree. W is Dodge, 41 is 4-door, so it is a hook for a 1971 Dodge Coronet.  :yesnod:

W is Dodge B body 71 and laters
4 is 4 doors
1 does mean Sedan ( pillar post... ) no hardtop

To be more correct that one should it be:
WL41
WH41

with K would it be POLICE car
with G or T, should it be Taxi

dunno remember how many varieties more were for 71 depending on trim

The 70 - 71 Parts Manual lists Chargers as a W code.  They are lump summed in with the Coronet.
The factory drawing of a 70 Charger front bumper assembly calls it a Coronet Fastback.  Kinda hard
to believe.
It doesn't look like they made a V Hook for a 70 Charger jack.
