I just know there's some sort of a morality test in this trick post you've made, but my brain is still fried from doing that damned aptitude test... :eek2: ...so yeah, whatever these other guys said. :icon_smile_cool:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Haha well. . .

I've got 3 pairs of slots in the shop now. Truthfully, I absolutely love them, especially all polished up. But the fact that they are almost ALL 3.5" of backspacing KILLS me! I'm seriously just kind of sick of hunting around, blah blah blah to try and find 4 that will fit this thing and be right. I got over the jacked up in the rear look so I don't want them sticking out of the wheel wells but still want them wide. I'm just going to get some black Cragar D Windows and let it ride. It should look pretty badass. . .hopefully? Maybe I should call upon ds.

Oh, and no morality test! I don't need books right now. . . but the Charger needs stuff right now. . .  :scratchchin:

It's all a timing thing!

:Twocents:  I tried to restore a car while i went to college and it was a pain in the ass because i was flat broke and couldnt buy parts fast enough to put the car together.  After 5 years i graduated and got the car running and looking back at my college years i decided that it was a waste of my time to work on that car every weekend when i could have been partying like you're supposed to do in college.
Anyways, dont let the restoration of the car control your life and go out and have fun also.  After college you will have plenty of time to work on it and more importantly more money to work on it.  Oh and dont get married and have kids right out of college, wait a couple years for that or your charger will never see the light of day.

By the way:  What college and what major?

It's all good man, it doesn't control my life, although I do see your point.

First of all, it's just a community college, so there's no "party scene" away from just my old buddies, nothing different than in high school, just beer, beer, and beer.

My car is very close to being on the road. As of right now it lacks a driveshaft, seats, gas tank, sending unit, master cylinder, and rear brakes.

I even more so hear you about another thing. . . the money! Haha it's horrible, but I do alright for a full time college student, about $400 every two weeks.

I'm at the community college for 2 years working on an Associate of Arts degree, which will transfer up to McPherson College in KS as all of my general education, where I'll be going to get a degree in automotive restoration business management. Kind of ripped off of Russ on that one, but not playing copycat, just seems like the best decision and I've grown tired of looking at colleges and other people trying to sway me toward sitting in an office for the rest of my life, so I've settled.

PocketThunder

I've been to McPherson!  Delivered a bid for a job there once at the refinery.  Lots of elcamino's in McPherson.  Hey, there is a house in McPherson with about 10 1st gen Chargers in it.  on the North side of town near the tracks.  We drove down every street waiting for the bid deadline and scouted for cars.

Right on man, I'll have to find it and take pictures once I get my ass up there!  :2thumbs:

Wait, now that i think about it,  there were 10 AMC's and 1 66 Charger.  not 10 66-67 Chargers.

Haha ah well. . . either way, definitely sounds like something worth looking at.

Reminds me of the myth around here of a Superbird locked up in a house before the guy went to jail.  :scratchchin:
