Hi,

Did the 73 Rallye charger have the Charger emblems on the fenders? If so anybody have any pics or a source for them?

Well from what I have seen the cars with the Rallye stripe did not have any emblems, the Charger logo and the arrow were cut into the stripe like the pic above.  All the cars I have seen without the stripe came with the emblems you posted on the doors and some have the arrow after the logo.  Im not sure whats correct as far as that goes.  I have seen a lot of cars with the emblems moved to add door bumper strips and things like that too.  For the most part though, I think the logo on the fender is more of a 71-72 thing than 73-74.  Probably because in those years you could get the door scoops and thats where the emblem is on 73-74 doors.

Hey,

Also i was wondering, I have chrome wheel wells, is there supposed to be a piece of chrome on the rocker below the doors?

I think that was an option as well.  My car had the wheel well trim and the rocker trim but I got rid of them.

The funny thing about that is my car didnt have the chrome trim around the bumpers or the chrome that goes on top of the hood/fenders/doors but I added all that.  Im building mine the way I would have wanted it.  My car looks stock to someone who doesnt know 3rd gen Chargers because all the parts are from 71-74 Chargers but its mixed and matched.  I have parts from every year 3rd gen on it.  :)

It depends on the model. The sill molding was standard on the Charger HT but optional on the Coupe.

The Rallye package was another option.

What matters is the body style.

The VIN for a coupe will start with WL21. The VIN for a hardtop wil start with WH23.

The Sill Moulding is not the same as the Rocker Moulding . I think the WH had the Rocker Moulding .

The 'rocker' molding is the 'sill' molding. Same thing called two different things....

I would have thought the upper molding to be the "sill" as well but its call the "belt" molding.   Strange I know.

Further proof to this is that my hardtop came with the sill (rocker) molding but not the belt (upper).  This pic was before I modified anything.  My car is a WH23 hardtop.

Any idea where I can get some??
