Speaking of F&F4, several people have told me I look similar to Vin Diesel when I'm wearing shades and have my head shaved... what do you all think:

it may have helped if you didn't look like someone just handed you the keys to a new 69 charger in that pic.. pretend someone just bought you an 06 charger and JUST handed you the keys. then take a pic. it may resemble him more then!  :smilielol:

so after losing my left side exhaust pullin on the trailer

then get the car up to la then a block or two away blew my temp housing off......

then finally finding the damn place

the director just blew by my car without even looking in the direction of it.

then thanks to leo got a ride back to my truck put the car on the trailer started to pull away,my driver side brake side on the truck broke....after teflon tape, rtv, super glue,a fuel hose and several clamps it held with just little brake pressure...

found the wife and kids which went to universal studios for the day, finally got back on the road..after a 4 hour drive back for a 2 hour regular drive..

got the car home and the family safe took the car off this moring ripped off the other side of the exhaust ......

after about 400+ dollars spent....the damn director only question from his assistant was IS IT FOR SALE?

so u know what is going to happen to a charger cause thats the only question that the three of us got...... :brickwall: :brickwall:

thanks to the guys for hanging out...hope everyone had a safe and uneventfully trip home.

i sure didnt......

Sorry to hear about the last leg of the trip...It was fun to meet up with you and ChargerRob.

Still can't believe that we all went that way and they probably only wanted us there so that they could try and buy our cars.

When are these directors going to learn what makes these movies become cult movies are the old cars in them.

So they rejected you all and then asked to buy your cars? :rotz: :shruggy:

They had tons of the newer cars like in the first movie all done up...as far as muscle cars, they had the three chargers, a cobra, a vanishing point challenger. a 442 and a mustang.

The director came and walked around with a camera and microphone boom and entourage. They would stop and look at the new cars for 20-30 seconds then move to the next car.

As far as the chargers, some guy who looked like the director's assistant asked if they were for sale, he said they are having a real hard time finding chargers (I guess to buy since the main hero car for the girl is a 70) then the director would pretty much just walk by after stopping for about 5 seconds. He just blew by the challenger and didn't even pretend to look.

If anything, maybe we'll endup as part of a bonus feature!  :smilielol:

Dude, That audition sucked!  :icon_smile_angry: the director's assistant ask me if
my Charger was for sale. I told him no. A little after the yo-yo's passed my car,
another flunky of the director came and asked again if I was SURE my car
wasn't for sale. What a Di*k!!

Any how, I got to meet some of the guys from the site. Leo (68charger383)
and Anthony (chargerman68) it was great to meet and talk with you guys.

Thats what it sounds like - the boom mic was only definitely around because they were going to keep that footage and possibily use it for a small extra feature video.

I'll keep my eyes out for you guys.
