ok geting ready to tear apart motor again and I'm putting in a new cam this time. talked to Chris @ Engle cams and he was recommending K 60 grind .534 lift dur. 305    253 exh @.50   110* LSA    is this too much cam?
451 stroker 850 double pump
torker II high rise intake
452 iron heads major port and polish 2.14X1.81 valves 3 angle valve job (eventually going 440 source alum heads)
3000 stall converter
4.30 sure grip 29 " tires

Challenger 340... Bob I had the problems with the rear main seal, thanks for all the valuable info on what to look for. unfortunately it was the crank easy to fix, just a pain getting to it $35.00 at the machine shop and now it's polished

With a 3000 stall i'd be more inclined to run a k58/k60 split pattern grind in your motor. The valve guides will need to be trimmed down for retainer to guide clearance with any cam that exceeds .510 valve lift.....just so you're aware  ;)

Outa go real good !

I sure like those little 451's.

Careful like Ron says about the guide/retainer clrc.
Only wimps wear Bowties !

That should be a great cam ...fast lobe...do you have adj rockers?
I use the K62 when I can't talk the customer into a true solid lifter profile...the K62 is the MOST powerful hyd cam I've ever dynoed...it shouldn't be classified as a hyd cam as it's so fast that hyd lifters can not cope with the ramp speed...I put a solid lifter on K62's and it picks up 10 hp and 10 ft lbs...
the last time I put  one in a 446 the E body  went 11.50's@119 with 3.55 gears and a 3500 stall converter...
The one thing I would do is call old Jack (or Mark) and ask him how fast that lobe is just to make sure your not going to be slamming the valve closed like a K62...
