Is it just me or did the T5, white gut, hemi-4spd Daytona from BJ 2007 not sell again at Mecum in Florida? Does anybody know what it bid up to?

According to their website, the high bid reached $410,000.  No mention of what the reserve was, but it was not listed as "Sold" so I assume that Colin still owns the car?   :shruggy:

Here's a screen-shot capture:

Didn't that car hit about $400,000 at a recent auction in the fall? I think there was a $500,000 reserve at that one.

A hemi  4 speed should bring 500 k , but it's not going  to in this market / economy
GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

I would think that $500K in the market right now, and with the way the economy is going would be hard to come by.  Okay now I see that someone already pointed that out. A dollar shot and a Day late as usual.

In my opinion though, I think that the prices are going to continue to go down for the next couple of years. This is just my thinking, but by going down I don't think they will go down drastically. Just a steady decline back to what I think are resonable prices for the cars. I would say that in the next few years a #2 Daytona 440 car will be back around the $100-125K range, even if its a 4 speed car. Just because the prices they were getting for the cars in the past 2-4 years were rediculous if you ask me. It was a fad/ the cool thing to do to own a Mopar. Now that the image appeal is begining to wear off for some of  the high rollers, it will allow for the prices to come back down to reality. Not that I can afford one even if they do go down to $100K, but it would be a lot closer than where they are at now.
