but someone explain to me the air pressure on the outside of the baloon question.... how can it be more on one than another?
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

I think it asks about the barometric pressure.... It will be the same on all of them.

That's what I thought.

I got lucky on a couple of guesses, but didn't do too bad I suppose.

I took the test and failed. 76%   I reviewed the ones i missed, and i hate to say but some of the ones it said i missed, their answers were WRONG.   I think it's safe to say that the air and fuel enter the combustion chamber on the intake stroke.   :icon_smile_question:   I don't see how some of those questions relate to working on a vehicle either, maybe new cars need you to use a pully system to work on them?

SeattleCharger

wow, I thought I was doing awesome, then I get a 78%, 390 points when it was all said and done,   heh

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

I had a problem with that one too, I guess that would make sense. I took the question as the balloons being in differing amounts of vacuum, making them larger or smaller.

Congrats to the rest of you brainiacs! :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Actually, quite a few of us got a 78%, which I didn't realize til later is only one question (ten points per question, right?),  one question from passing,  that isn't that bad,       reminds me of sections of the SAT with all those gears turning which way and that,
I think I got the volts one wrong when it was in series or parallel with the batteries, some lucky guesses and some unlucky guesses.
  Hey, I have a Bronco,    shouldn't I have done better?   :icon_smile_big:

Did buy it (buy most movies, books, etc I see with King Arthur) haven't watched it yet, normally not really into the fantasy kind of movies. But since you recommend it, I'll go watch it.

Ha! Ask anyone - I'm not very mechanically inclined but I'm good with engineering. I passed with an 80% (400) on the first try.

Must be a Tri-state thing
I got 400 too (so Troy, why do work on computers?)

Probably because they're less greasy. :icon_smile_tongue:

That test is very similar to parts of the SAT college entrance exam and also the LSAT law school admission test,   it tests reasoning and logic, aptitude/cognitive ability etc,   that's why most of us are doing ok even if we don't work at ford or professional mechanics, because dodgecharger.com just attracts more intelligent members, haha, no, but really, I would say 3/4 of that test was SAT or LSAT type problems almost exactly, (well, maybe a third of LSAT is that stuff, SAT prob. one section out of four,     there were some more specific engine/wiring whatever, but with some basic understanding of those areas and some reasoning or logic, an educated guess could be made,
I thought that test was fairly challenging, we should all be proud, just saying, professional people aren't any smarter just because they have classic education or whatever,       tilar,  hemigeno,  I can't explain your score  :icon_smile_wink:    no, that is really high, wth

Okay, someone tell me. . .

What's the answer to the planetary gear question? I sat there for a good while thinking about that one. :shruggy:

I work *with* (not on) computers because I don't get bored (changes too quickly), it pays better, and my body doesn't get beat up as much as it did when I was working manual labor jobs. I currently work at a place where I get to play with machines when I want so it's sort of the best of both worlds. I've put a lot of thought into merging my skills and branching off into a new area. I think it'd be a blast to create systems for EFI/ignition, active suspension, tracking/locating, or calibration/monitoring for cars. Most of what I find fascinating falls under the realm of race cars or prototypes and that's a hard industry to break into - plus, the job security isn't all that great with budgets and priorities changing almost daily.
