Death1970Proof

A '72 twister in basin street blue! Sweet! I need the tail panel off that machine badly..to bad she's rotting... :brickwall:
"Remember when I said this car was death proof? Well that wasnt' a lie-this car is 100%death proof- only to get the benefit of it honey you really need to be sitting in my seat"...

I know a guy who has a cousin that has a "bunch of old cars" on a hill in Tennessee, some day he is going to go down and see what he has. He remembers some old Chevy trucks from the 50s' and a couple T birds from the mid 60's. Nothing that I care for but you never know what may be rotting out there.

Hiya folks - glad to share these photos with you!

QuoteI notice a lack of chevy in them.

There were lots of GM cars on the property, I just didn't take photos of them!   :D

Quotecan I have the exclusive use of these for my webite?.. please

Even though you said please, which is rare, my lawyer has advised me that I should not let anyone use these photos for their websites.   :pity:

QuoteI wonder if any of those cars will ever find their way out of that forest?

Highly unlikely and yes, I'll bet the Mach 1 is there until someone comes along with a chainsaw.  BTW - traveling salesman

QuoteMy old lady wants the red Mustang....

I'm sure your Mother would be thrilled if you bought her that Mustang however I can't imagine her being thrilled if she knew you were referring to her as "your old lady".   :eek2:

QuoteWith the tons of debris I hope he never gets a lightning strike and looses them all.

I'm sure they're all paid for!   :D

Quotehe is a great guy

Yes, he is!

As usual, you've delivered cool pics of a cool find! Thanks for sharing those.

Sometimes when looking at pics like those, one nagging thought I have (and it's a sick one, so if you're squeamish, avert your eyes NOW)...

...

...I can't help but think that in another hundred years or so, that most of the beautifully restored cars today will possibly be resting in that same state of disrepair one day. Ok, so maybe not in a hundred years...what about two hundred? I know, I'm sick.
I guess the one good thing will be that we can enjoy them today, for time rolls on, tomorrow is another day & tomorrow, something else will be considered a prized thing to have. Meticulously restored musclecars will be cast aside like worn out underwear, in favor of more current coolness.

Sorry so gloomy. :(

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I also wonder what will be around in 200 years.  Perhaps there will be only a few wheeled vehicles left in museums or say the Smithsonian.

Seems like a nice guy, he has no computer, I sent him snail mail pics of the pieces I needed.  He said he will get back to me with a price once he sees what I want :shruggy:  Thanks Shakey!!!
