Hello everyone,
First question on DC.com!
A few months ago I looked into options to repair my leaky vacuum headlight actuators on the 'Bird. These are the same parts used on both 68 and 69 Chargers I believe as well. I'm finally ready to begin my winter projects and this is one of them. There are 2 options that I am aware of, Wilson Products that will rebuild mine, or BE&A products that are reproducing these parts as a unit. My preference would probably be the new parts, but I have no experience with BE&A, they have some VERY impressive looking parts that I never thought would be reproduced, but I really am more interested in function over appearance.
Has anyone purchased parts from them and can give a quality report, or had Wilson's rebuild their units? Neither is cheap, but I just want the best parts for my money.
Thanks for any input!

Welcome to the site!  I would honestly go with BE&A parts - nothing against Wilson but I'm usually in for new parts when available...      Nice bird!

My boss has this tor-Red six pack four speed bird...

2013 Dodge Challenger R/T - 5.7L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.73 Limited Slip

1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye - 340 / A-518 / 3.23 Sure Grip

I have dealt with Mike from B/E&A body parts.  Mike is a top notch reproduction person.  The highest attention to quality and detail goes into all of his products I have seen.  If there is a problem with manufacturing that is slighly off, Mike stops production and corrects the problem and even goes to make good on the product that was out there.  As for Wilson's, I have no knowledge of them.

I thought BE&A was the distributor and the design and manufacturing was done by P&G?   :shruggy:

I'm sure Troy will set me straight with a link and a  :slap:   :D

Either way, I have purchased from P&G/BE&A and the products and service were great!

Another welcome to the site!

if you have your switch rebuilt , I would have dave at performance car graphic do it .  He did mine on the superbird and it looks and works great !!!!!!
