Ok, got the front wheel on. A few observations are....These rims really change my stance. The car had the classic low in the front high in the back and now the car sits even. That I done like, but I can lower the car if I want I suppose. The car now sits much higher than it did before-good for the undercarridge, but bad for the "coolness" facter. I had to take the dustcap off the rotor to get it on and then the center cap off the rim too. That would have to be delt with before anything else. I also do not know if the wheels would rub or not when driving. Oh yeah, I would need new longer skinnier lug nuts. All of these things are not too bad of problems, but I just need to decied if I want thins look, or save up the $5K for the rims and tires I really do want. The plus side is these were made for the new Chargers and I have one of those too. They look killer on them. Either way it's all good. Here is a picture.

Not so sure about it.  I like the rims but I think the fronts need to be a little smaller to make it look good.

I know what you mean. I kida like it, but the front needs to be smaller. I like this look here. These are the rims I truly want. Bonspeed Huntingtons. This is 18/60-17/45. The back would be a bit higher and the front a little lower.

Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

i pretty much agree with nacho i have seen members here with 17's on the front and 18's on the back which look good. probably not something i would ever do. I dont like the low profile tires do they go any taller than 50's (sidewall) ?

bigtimegameboards

Just curious if you ever did any driving with the wide front tires on?
I've got a 73 charger se that i want to put 17x9 torq thrusts on all 4, they have 4.5 backspacing, and want to make sure they fit on the front before i pull the trigger.
those wheels look awesome, i agree with you, maybe you could turn the torsion bars down in the front to get the ride height you want.

Nacho-RT74

get lowered tension to get lowered front end looks good, but in counterpart, having less tension will make bump out more the front end, so need to be take care about.

If is a small mod, will be good, but try to get it LOOOOWER is a no go. Better get first a harder T bars set and then get the low ride.

Plus get lowered front end will raise up also the rear end
