1972 340 motor valve adj

I currently have a 340 motor from 1972 Demon question about adjusting the valves can anybody let me know the proper way of how to adjust the valves on the head I want to make sure they are adjusted right. The car runs hot

I thought stock they were non adjustible? Did you put adjustible on them?
