Hi Robin and fellow Canucks, I'm in south Niagara and here are my cars. 1968 RT with a soon to be installed hemi, originally a 440 car, auto. 1969 RT needs total resto 4 speed and dana 4.10 super track pack car.
I used to own a mopar because it was different, but now I know better.

Hi fellow Canucks,
I'm Ross from Gimli, Mb. & I have a 68 Charger 383 auto console car. Bonus about Canada's winters is you have more time to play with your car.  Plan on redoing the dash this year (redo all gauges including the rarer Tic Tac Toc); installing classic air conditioning & buying original Charger air cond. vents to install into, so it looks original; install 68 correct am-8 track & speakers; as you can see from the pic of the interior it needs work, including console/carpet etc; install door locks & get the windows to go oall the way up; paint & install original valve covers; replace water pump; many many other smaller interior and under the hood jobs; & my BIG BIG  dilemma is whether to buy a Gear Vendor over/under or to buy an extra third member & swap out gears for the highway.  A guy from this site made a web page where you can swap out your rear ends, change tires & see what happens to your RPM's http://vexer.com/68rt/speed.html.  I have spent a couple of hours playing with the combos still not sure how to go.  Will install new tires & mags this year, not sure what size.  Any ideas for tire size, what sort of combos do others have on their cars?
My plans are to make this a highway car, so I really want to keep my RPM's down as I'm hoping to do Route 66 from Chicago to LA in the fall of 09.  This has been an excellent site to get info on our cars & to save money.  Good idea Robin to start this topic. Hope you all have a great winter with your cars & projects!

Ross
