water restictor to heater core?

well i changed the frigging heater core,and it still leaks.Now,my question is it only leaks if i get over 3000 or so rpms,is there a restrictor that should be in the heater hose?it was a a/c car,but i dont have any of the ac stuff-does that make a difference? some body help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 :smilie_help:

does it leak in the interior or the engine compartment?

Did you have much of a struggle to put the heater box back into place and get the heater core nipples to go back through the firewall?  Those nipples can't take a lot of beating around or you can break the soldered joints at the top of the core.

leaks inside, theheater core was used,but i had it tested last year,and it sat on my work bench in a box until i put it in. no strugle to put it back in,had my son help guide me and it actually went better than i expected.the frigging thing probably started leaking because its getting cold here at night now,and that means its almost time for her winter nap,at least thats what im thinking

Unless it CANNOT be had, alllllllllways replace heater cores with NEW heater cores..... 

Before you pull it out again, make sure your clamps are tight at the nipples.. Maybe you will be lucky and it's just getting a spraypast the nipple to the core.....
