Nice Work, looks like most of us are in the restoration stage and not the completed driving stage of our cars. Maybe Cody (Bronzy) can do a poll on this topic, if he has the time.

Dakotaboy, why the front tub? Was it wrecked, or rust?

Good luck with your project.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

DS inner is wasted under the tray, which inturn made a weak spot in the rail. and the PS has a weak spot in behind the bumper mounting location. Instead of cutting, chopping, and fitting. I'm gonna give her a whole new front end, rails and all.

:o Wow, amazing.  I love to see work like that done.  Great job.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

NMike

did you transfer the vin to the new rad support?

looks good!

dakotaboy

no I did not transfer the body number. i got pics before, during, and after to document the replacement of the front end, if I ever need to prove anything. Never gonna sell this one anyway. And I consider replacing the number as "FALSE ADVERTISING". I still have the org stuff and not going to throw it away.

 Thanks for the complements
