Definitely a good thing to have on one's bucket list. :2thumbs: What's up with all the tents by the pool in the shot above?

Thanks for sharing all the pics for us fellow dreamers.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Bidders pass 500 bucks........ what a joke. Boy they get you coming and going.........sitting too i guess. I bet the beer was 10 bucks a can too.

With the bidders pass you get 10 free drinks each day. They punch the pass each time you get a drink. BTW, the drinks are good. I was drinking their house vodka which was provided by Belvedere. They weren't skimpy with the pour and the bartenders were all very attractive females.
A Fact of Life: After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF.........

The hotel rents those "cabanas" by the day. I guess they offer shade and a little privacy. I only saw one person in the pool the whole time I was there. Must be off season. The day time temps were about 65 but it got into the 30's at night.

Cool. I guess that aint too bad then. I just don't understand the cost just to bid. I guess if you can't spare 500 bucks I guess why would you go. Nice pics. Looks like you had a good time  :2thumbs:

Yes I agree with Steve, those pics were awesome and it must have been somewhat difficult to get as good as those shots are are in such close proximity, that one pic of the '50s' T-birds in their pastels is Sweet!

Thanks!

Thanks for the pictures. :2thumbs:

Wow! Except for it being an R/T this red and white '70 is a dead ringer for the one I used to own.

Yep! thats on my bucket list as well, and I think bidders get free food and drinks, $500 for food drink and atmosphere is not a bad deal at all in my opinion :Twocents:
Come over to my house . For $500 I'll give you free food and drinks and so much atmosphere it will make you vomit .  :smilielol:

Thanks for the offer, if you ever get a large classic car auction at your house, I will consider it.  Will your wifes cooking make me vomit, or the alcohol or the atmosphere? :shruggy:

Thanks. The shots I took inside the tent took some patience waiting for people to get out of the way. The one of the little birds I took right after I got there early Saturday morning. It was semi busy then. By 10am it was a zoo.

I've got shots of non-Mopar cars if anyone is interested.

Trav, by the looks of your yard you could charge to tour your collection.  I don't see how owning more than one classic car is bad for the hobby.  As long as your not neglecting them or letting them rot, you are helping preserve history.  If I had the room and the $$$ I would own many more than I do now, and other than the Challenger convertible (that I bought in 1982)l my cars were projects that would have rotted or been parted out by now if I had not bought them.  I don't claim to be  a great restoration guy, infact far from it, but my cars all look better now than when i bought them.  If thats bad for the hobby, I'm guilty.
