Man, that guy did some really impressive work on that car! I'd say you double scored...1st on such a nice Charger & 2nd on being able to obtain all those good pics & history on the car. That's getting more rare these days.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Man that thing is nice.  Are you going to take it to any shows anytime this year.  If you do im parking my charger far away from yours.  Yours will make mine look like a ratty college guys project(which it is) :icon_smile_big:

I'm sure I will. But don't be fooled...it is a 10-ft car (o.k., maybe 5-ft   :scratchchin: )  for sure. It need some TLC; some details need to be addressed and I'll bring up all the bad with it in another thread. Or this thread after I get the car home (which may be next week!)  :2thumbs:

I remember that car from a car show that was held in San Antonio, Texas in 2006 or so.  Nice score!!

Thank  you, Troy.

Now, the car will be picked up next week by FedEx passport and I will be having the former owners snap some photos of it being loaded.  On the off chance something unseemly happens to the car on transport I will then have a photographic record for claim purposes. What are the possible problems with having covered transportation? Top, corners, bottom frame (I'm assumming that they use a benign method to tie the car to the trailer)? I'll take any advice you can offer on photographic angles. And I'll post the photos (If I get them) when it is in transit...I know how photo hungry this board is!   :icon_smile_tongue:

Oh, and I'm getting excited again! Soon to be a California car!

Well, the car was loaded and is on its way to sunny northern California.   :yesnod:      :icon_smile_big:  I have attached 4 photos of the pick-up, sent to me by the sellers (again, great people to deal with and even better to have as friends), and will add more later. Interesting collection of cars in the carrier, also. The driver will probably avoid every bump!  :P  My beauty is in good company.  :2thumbs:

Dan,
I'm glad you decided to use a closed carrier.  What company did you decide to use?  Looks like a very professional operation - covering each car in plastic - nice touch :2thumbs:
Have fun "cruzin'" in it.

I am using FedEx Passport. A bit more expensive than the others but, I think, worth it. I believe they also cover the seats and floor mats. Nice touches.  And as Dan/8Wheeler previously said probably the first unloaded. :2thumbs:  I was told that the car would not be moved in the trailer until it was delivered. Updates to follow when I take delivery!

Again, I probably already brought this up but I feel very fortunate to have purchased this particular car. The owner has problems with his knees,  could not comfortably use the clutch, and ultimately decided to sell versus changing the car to an automatic. He did a good job in bringing this car back, and has another (Plymouth Savoy) to work on; he will miss this car (I know for fact) but has the Savoy to excise the demons due to visit him from selling the Charger. He did have a lot of offers on the car, most asking price, but turned them down as he did not either like the buyer or did not like what they were going to do, or not do, with the car. He wanted someone who would appreciate the car and take good care of it. I guess it was fated to be. God willing this car will will see my daughter to her high school graduation (10 years to go!) and myself and the family to many cruises and memorable drives. O.K., enough pontificating. I really need to get to work.... :P
