Hard to tell if its a "known" car or not. Not a very good picture of the car, and a very limited description. If i live in California I'd go check it out, if for nothing else than to  on another Daytona.

But i do know where a 4 speed lemon twist S.B. is stashed in a garage...

last wing car i saw up close was Pete's white  ,hemi superbird . i was speechless for a while just staring at it.

Where is the A pillar trim? Is the rear window trim on the car? How about the trunk braces for the wing?

Yeah for $150K the project car isn't going to get any serious takers, in my opinion. Not when you figure that cars that were ready to hop in and drive sold recently for less than that. There was the nice Y2 yellow SE Daytona that sold recently for way less than that.

Is there a picture of that tag? A SE Daytona would be interesting definately, and I'm just thinking outloud here, but I'll have to look it up, but there was a sequential pair of Daytona's that were Candian that were both SE's and I believe both green in color. maybe this is one of those.

I wouldn't rule that idea out. I know a few people who are like that with cars. They buy a car brand new, drive it for about 10 years, then get another new one. Only to park the first one in a barn/garage and keep it. Have a buddy who's first car was a HEMI Superbee 1969. Still has that car, as well as several other cars that he bought new along the last 30 years. Granted none of the others were HEMI cars, but still low mileage cars that he still has.
