Those are some really great pictures.  :popcrn:  :yesnod:  Makes one start to daydream about where all those cars ended up. :scratchchin:

Its interesting to look at all the pit row pictures and compare them to now with respect to the safety gear those guys wear. Its funny to think back to when I was a youngster in the 70s and never wore anything like seat belts/helmets/eye protection/etc. Riding in the back of pickup trucks, ahh the good old days. I am kinda surprised I survived.  :-\

Its a good thing I finally did start wearing that stuff. Rolled a car on black ice in college and dumped my bike last spring, both times walked away. Total body damage - 4 stitches (skid suit armor cut my leg) and some bruises (including ego).   :2thumbs:

alot of those were posted on the areocarthread some time ago, but no matter they deserve to be reposted and I thank you for it...

(what pisses me off is that i sold all my racing car pictures to help fund my paint job back in 1988 at a swap meet,.. for $600 cash,..)
