I bought my brake stuff from O'reilly's http://www.oreillyauto.com  (I go to the store but incase its not local to you, thats their site) I cant remember the details but it was the best deal I found at the time I bought them.

For the little parts I go to a local place called Motor Parts and they usually find me what I need.

Well, goodbye paycheck, hello parts!

I decided to go the safe, less time consuming, less confusing, less expensive route and just get all the '74 Charger parts, as I said. Everything arrived today, so I'll start on my swap tonight after I get off of work. Man, those unicast rotors are HEAVY! Anyways, it all looks great and is all there, even the hardware kit I didn't need, as the calipers came with the bushings and whatnot anyways. One thing I was worried about was finding the "pins" (bolts) for the calipers, as the article said that they were hard to find, but they came with the calipers too so I guess they didn't look too hard

Hey terrible one
I'm just wondering where you picked up your parts. I'm finally ready to do the conversion to discs and have been checking prices locally, autozone..napa. I'm getting prices a little under $300 bucks for rotors, calipers, pads and brake hoses  for a 74. did you find any decent deals in your search? just trying to save a little cash where i can.

Thanks

Hey man. I bought my spindles from a board member (moparguy01). For my rotors, calipers, pads, brake hoses, and bearings it was $210 or so AFTER shipping. So with that, I would say that you can do WAY better than $300 for that you mentioned. Go to www.rockauto.com. . . that's where I got my stuff.

I guess I should also mention that I have 2 '73 Charger parts cars with all the disc brake stuff, but I wont get around to pulling the stuff apart til summer though.

Thanks for the p/n. . .

The calipers came with two copper crush washers each. . . sufficient?

Bolts are in the mail, the original washers are with them too.  They'll be good for comparison if nothing else.

Right on, and thank you once again!

Not a problem.  If you had asked for something that took more than 5 minutes to get off it would have waited til spring though.   ;)

I don't know - I played it safe and bought four new ones from Mopar.  $3.00 each = piece of mind.

I read in Mopar Action that Mopar's are the correct thickness so I went for it.
