He bought the Challenger for $35K so I guess he has $20K left to restore it. Actually, he is planning a bare metal full rotisserie restoration so I imagine it will cost more than that.

I hear ya. Since Ford is the sponsor and Shelby is there selling his, maybe people figured more Mustang people would be there and so some rare ones showed up and some had a hole buring in their pocket

I would have to say that the $165K for the F8 HEMI 500 is right in the ball park of what I had the car figured for. Now the T5 car at $110K was a little lower than what I was thinking for the car. I don't think either one of them was all that low compared to the rest of the market lately.

I say all the power to the current trends. I never considered re-sale value when I bought my '69 Charger about 3 years ago.

Up until recently I never thought I would again be optimistic about getting another '69 or a '68 Charger (which I would love to own a '68). Now, to see driver projects on ebay struggling at $15000...
