I have a friend in need: He's reassembling a 1969 Charger 500 that was professionally restored. Somewhere along the way, new blockoff plates were purchased for it, but strange as it might seem, they don't come anywhere close to fitting the openings.
Has anybody else had this problem?
Could somebody please post pictures of the correct pieces in place, as a guide for fitment?
Thanks!

Your friend seems to be having several problems with the hood on that 500.

maybe they're for a 68 hood?
If so I'll buy them off you, my hood needs them.

The thread I posted, were for regular 68 and 69 hoods, I don't have pics of the 70 style block off plate.

If you do a search, I know they have been posted in the past.
