My darn cell phone likes to reset the image size on me from time to time, of course I didn't know it did it again. So, sorry about the small pics I got today. Anyway, this Ford Aeromax L-9000 is sitting on hwy 45 in Waucousta, Wi. and it has been there all summer. It looks to be in good shape yet. He is asking $5,000 for it.

Bout 4grand more then I would want to give for it. Day cabs are tough to sell these days.   There was a daycab  COE IH transtar at an auction that started out at 200$ and no bids. Guy fired it up and it sat there and idled like it was supposed to. Truck in great shape. Ended up selling for 600$.

This is pretty kick ass.  First time I saw a real Big Horn, it was about 15 years ago when I was going to college in Mankato, MN.  Saw the Big Horn rolling threw town hauling a load of new cars.  I chased it to the dealer and talked to the driver.  He said the truck was originally one of Waylon Jennings road crew truck, don't know if it was true but it was a good story.

Now that's a pretty cool old BH.  By the looks of the dirt flying off the front tire it looks like the steer axle is powered?

Todd Wilson

That old Plymouth is a very rare truck. It should be returned to original as there arent many around!

Since they changed the frame it looks like the front tires will rub the fenders.  :-\

That dude has some sweet old rigs. Always comes up with something. I liked that COE Freightliner sleeper with the Detroit and single rear axle. That would be a good puller for me.

yup! This is the typical   dumb ass move by someone who doesnt know what they have.  Now they have a pile of crap that dont run. I would bet that truck ran before they did all that to it. Such a shame for  an old Plymouth!

A guy on Hank's truck forum is selling this one. It is the real deal, and the last true survior (and trailer) from the movie "Duel".

That hunk of crap has been for sale on the truck forum for a while. It has nice straight fenders and the bed isnt too bad. I am affraid though the spray bomb paint job is covering a lot more problems.

Here is my someday project.  '74 W300 cab and chassis dually, my dad bought it new in '74, sold it in the early 90's.  I got it back 33 years later to the day!  Once I got it home I was looking in the glove box at the old warranty papers from when Dad owned it.  He took delivery of it on July 22, 1974 and I drove it in my shed on July 22, 2007.  Kinda creepy.
Was a 360 2bbl with 4spd, that blew up in the 80's and it got a 383.  It needs lots of work, but it will be cool if it ever gets done.

Very cool! My dad had a 79 F-150, i would love to have it back, I'm sure it's rusted to bits by now. I learned how to drive at the ripe old age of 9 in that truck.  :2thumbs:
