I'm workin on it. Got a you tube account. Keep ripping the DVD and all I get is sound. As soon as I get some video I will put it up.

Its about a 25 minute video of stuff going on around the oil derrick. Its classic old school stuff. Everyone is smoking cigarettes!HAHA! Theres a GMC in there thats doing some work as well as another truck I cant figure out but the Dart is doing the heavy work.

Todd Wilson

Well heres part 2 of the oil field stuff. The Dart is in it a little bit. I am uploading part 1 now but its a tad bigger file size allowed and longer in minutes so I dont know if they will accept it or not. I may need to find a video program that will cut videos down.

What a cool video! Looks like one of the kids got ahold of the camera toward the end there.
That's a strong winch & the operator sure made it look easy loading that rig on. :2thumbs:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

When I was growing up, I collected a LOT of truck ads and pictures out of magazines, and dealership litrature up til the early '90s.  I got one over full box of just dealership litrature going back to the late '60s of almost every truck make made (not every year or model though), and most of it is in, or in near mint condition yet. I went to a lot of truck shows back then. I was looking for something else, and I firgured I'd give a small sample of what I have. Keep in mind, I have so much of this stuff including posters, that I'm not even sure of everything I really have anymore. I do know this though, I think I have just about every Peterbilt "Class" Ad and poster ever printed :-P   I found I have a lot of Western Star and Mack stuff too.

The Autocar stuff was from the dealer. The others are from magazines.

Click the thumb nails for bigger pics.

The Kenworth, Western Star & Marmon is dealership handouts. The others are magazine ads.

Near the end of 1984, I wrote to the Marmon company to see if they would send me information on their trucks. Well, they did. They sent me everything listed as 1985. I still have everything in the original envelope that Marmon sent it to me in. Every thing is in mint condition yet as it was pretty much was  looked at, then packed away for all these years. The paper still has the "fresh ink" smell to it. The 1989 Brochure was picked up at a truck show. I didn't scan the back of the black and white brochures as all it had was the Marmon logo and company address in black & white.

Great Marmon ads Pete  :2thumbs: 57P is what I had. Mine was an 87 and looked similar to the one in the Cat ad except it was blue. It would be cool if I could figure out a way to blow that up into a poster.

Tilar

I love those old 6x6's and run across them now and then. If I live long enough to finish the projects I have now, I may get one... I always thought they would be fun.

Here is some of my Western Star brochure collection.

All the 1985 stuff I got from Western Star after I wrote them in late '84. All the '85 stuff was in one two sided folder that I got. I did not scan the back sides of the spec sheets either. The other brochures were gotten from truck shows.
