Rad support--what colour are they sposed to be?

I've seen alot of '69 Chargers and I've noticed something. Some of them, the rad supports are painted body colour where some others are black. What are they sposed to be? Body colour or black?

All mopars are always flat black. The very top piece stays body color. It stays below the one upper lip except some e-bodies will go above that upper lip on sides sometimes. I think my unrestored 72 charger has it all across the top but I rarely see this on unrestored cars. LEON.
