440-1 are over kill for a street 600 hp    I bought a set of EZ-1 295's for my 512..  plus the 440-1 has a raised exhuast port which means costom headders..  Ez's have a low exhuast port (factory) and uses any header or exhuast manifold for a 440. :yesnod:

EZs are the way to go...       :Twocents:

Mildly ported Edelbrock RPM's will make 600hp easy with a 500 incher.....but the EZ's are a no brainer.  ;)
