could you get the quarter panel badge and the R/T stripe, or is one or the other? (1969)

This is a no,no.  But I had no choice as the stripe was painted on, and I certainly wanted R/T on the side. :yesnod:  Believe it or not I'm far from alone.  I've seen many done this way including one in a multi million dollar collection.  Cool thing is, most people have no idea, but it is incorrect.  Also the black back end should be semi flat not gloss, and my stripe is straight across the trunk and not V'd to the trunk edge lines.  The whole rear is a judges nightmare, but it be looking gooood.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

I like A LOT emblems all around, but there is something about quarter R/T that still makes me doubt... that emblem alone there... stripe looks more agressive.

I have seen the stripes and emblem setup at teh same time before. I like too.

In 1969 only the stripe delete cars had the large R/T emblems near the tail.

My buddy has a bronze 69 that is this way.

Then you're just asking the wrong judges, that's all.  I may not be as famous or as knowledgable as ,well, as anybody, but I still give you  :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:way, waaaaaaay up!
