Installing aftermarket driving/fog lights on a Charger?

I posted this on Moparts too, but want to see what the Charger owners are doing for this.

I am finally about to start driving my Charger again and I was thinking since I drive a good bit at night, I could use an upgrade in the lighting department.

I am also wiring the headlights to relays so they will be brighter, but I'd like a little extra also.

My ride is a 70 Charger, and if I had unlimited time and resources, I'd ,make my own driving lights to install where the park lamps/turn signals are currently, and keep a clean factory look.

But with two jobs and school this fall, that ain't happening.

So I was thinking about some strong driving lights behind the grille like Blade's 68 Charger. That way they would at least be mostly out of sight. They are kind of ugly, I don't really want them in plain sight.

But as many deer and things that run around down here, I could use it.

How have you guys installed them?

I never saw the point in installing driving lights...     if you had some $$$ rolling around in your pockets just convert your existing headlight system to HID lights...   (Autodynamics and NYMille have done this and are completely pleased with it)

You can also buy light housings and convert the existing sealed beams to H4/H1 lamps...     add relays and you wont need driving lights...     :Twocents:

If not - and you really want to install the driving lights...   they should be fairly simple to install...   a ground wire and a power wire...    a higher amp alternator and headlight relays would help you out greatly.

Autodynamics sells the setup and also installed it in  Mr. Angry (jNYCMille).    I bought the kit too... gotta do it myself tho.
