Thats the thing about concepts in my opinion. The Challenger looked like a production car when it came out as a concept where that thing, I cant see it being a production car :yesnod:

   I've pointed this out before...
the Original Dodge Charger Concept Circa 1963 when it was still a clay model... And was concidered for Turbine power...
                   http://www.autobild.de/ir_img/45603127_c5f970fb8a.jpg
The Charger III of 1969 was a further development of that concept.

so it was actually the 1968 - Corvettes that "borrowed" from the original double diamond design...
though in actuality there's only so many solutions to areodynamic problems...
Most folks think the DAYTONA front cap looks like a corvette too.

Though this may be a plymouth I can see alot of the original Clay in this baby... (smaller pic at bottom of posting)

The Charger III was only a fiberglas mock up done for the auto shows that yr...
you can see in the 1964 half Clay though the Genesis of the eventual double diamond shape and in the front fenders the fender swells.
so there were a couple things going on, among them the switch to a b-body based front engine, the four bucket seat interior with a full length center console, the open grill design and in general the jet engine intake and exhaust theme.

what's this remind you of?..

you can also see Dodge wasn't the only Company following the Diamond and Jet design track

any third Gen cues here?..

Magnumcharger

You can definately see a lot of '70 Challenger in the grille of this design. Obviously, Bill Brownlie studio.
As for the new concept, all of those pics appear to be computer generated...but I think the design is very cool.
Of course, I like concepts!

The windshield looks like it could be a tad expensive if it developed a crack...

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

that can't be a dodge concept, the grill isn't near big enough...
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

plum500

I think that's pretty slick. Certainly a clean design - polished. I like it.

Love those front fenders . Stole those from the 71 - 74 AMC Javelins ( that nobody seems to care for ).

i think its a fresh new way to go, its very shapely, the chargers shapely, so does that mean the chargers gay on wheels, if so then you must be a lesbian...

well i think it's the best thing i've seen out of dodge in some time...

though i liked the Firepower! that was a Chysler Viper...

MaMopar

This one is pretty cool.  Would like to have one of these.  Seems roomy enough, but I do not need much room.  Chrysler is always coming up with the cool stuff.  I liked the Venom from a few years ago.  It had a Cuda look to it.  It was pretty cool.
