I still have both my dart and charger but I just traded my 55k mile gn for a mustang.
Mustang is a sbf that made over 1300hp to the tires and runs 4.80s
here is a link to the dyno pull of the mustang

WOW  :o Are you licenced to run 4.80?

Cars built for that kind of run get expensive very quick. Get ready to trade your Dart after your first malfunction. Sweet car though.  :2thumbs:

It depends on the Ford & depends on the GM, I like a few from each camp. :)

What year of 'Stang do you have? I can't open your link thanks to the Nazi's here at work. :icon_smile_angry:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

4.80s  :o :o :o :o if youre talking 1/4s, than damn, if youre talking 1/8s, than thats not as bad, but still wicked fast

For me it would be Ford.  There are a lot of Ford owners in my town and that way, when it breaks down (and it's going to break down) there'll be lots of people who can help out with parts and advice.  :yesnod:

I'd rather own a GM. I like Mustangs, '72/'73 Torinos, and early Maverick Grabbers. But those are the only Fords I ever liked. GM has a bigger variety to pick from.

None of the above...MOPAR ALL THE WAY!

But to answer your question really, I'd prefer GM over Ford. Love those 69-71 Camaros, 70 GSXs and 69 GTOs! :drool5:

I'd rather be hit by a Ford than own a Ford, No offence intended.
I'd sooner buy something to poke out my left eye than to support the Ford Motor Company.
You couldn't Give me a Ford.
Fords are good for 1 thing....?.....I'll get back to that one.

Driving a Ford means- "I don't really know what I'm Driving"

OK there is no reason to be THAT enthusiastic about it Rob come on!
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Ford would be my next choice after a MOPAR.  Something about an all aluminum 427 big block in a '67 fastback Mustang makes me cream my pants...

I prefer the 66 Fairlane myself, but if it has a 427 it doesn't really matter

On a side note, I almost traded my Charger in on a bright red 2004 Cobra hardtop in the summer of 2005  :o  That car was a beast

Give me a ford, I always kind of liked the torino's. Not enough to ever own one, but better than any GM. I would take a GNX if I had to have a GM.

The70RT

I never had too many Ford auto's but I had Ford Trucks and they are built better than a Chevy. I have had Chevelles and Nova's and always kicked my self for letting them go. Now I have a couple of Olds in the stable. I did get rid of my 57 Chevy a year ago and don't miss it at all.

There's a  Maverick Grabber on a used car lot the next town over from me. Looks pretty sharp, but I hate fords, so I haven't stop to check on it.

Sitting next to my Charger is my '64 Galaxie 500 with a worked over 289 that does the trick. For as big as "Teeth" is, it looks nice and hauls ass.

bull

I think classic Fords are built better than the classic GM products in general but I think the GM offerings are better looking. I'd take a '67-'68 Camaro or a '66-'67 Chevelle over any Mustang. And I think I'd take the Chevelle over the Camaro. But I'd take several other Mopars before I'd take a Chevelle such as a '67-'69 Barracuda, 1970 and/or '71 Roadrunner/GTX, '71 Cuda or Challenger, etc.

This looks pretty good IMO:

Hemidog

Well, i will have to choose GM, cause the made some pretty descent looking cars like bull mentioned.
but don't tell anyone.. :leaving:
