There's one on eBay with a part number of #4114599. Is this correct? I'm missing this piece from my A/C heater box. Thanks.

I don't think they are the same or interchangeable ... does have an extra prong.!!!

looking at my diagram, what I think is BASICALLY, the same than earliers ( but diff prongs disposition ) You will need 4 prongs setup, what would it mean one is heater speed input, one is mid A/C speed input, 3rd one is A/C low speed input, and then the common output, being the high A/C speed feeded directly from A/C switch and not coming from resistor plate

However... could you make it work ? maybe, just will need to analize and get the 3 different resistances values to make works like original and then the common output.. would 1 prong keep unplugged

The one NOS on pic does look ALLMOST exactly the same than 3rd gens one with just one extra prong.

Okay some one else can try to verify this but I think that for a 1969 the proper part number of the resistor that your looking for would be as follows

2837813 That is for a blower resisitor for the heater without a/c

Or at least that is the number that I'm coming up with when I looked through the manuals. If you have a shop manual for 1969 it is on page 1336 where it list the part number, and the diagram is on page 1319. I know that probably doesn't help a lot because the pages aren't numbered. It is in section 24 illistration 4.

Chatt69chgr

My 69 parts manual says the P/N is 2936103. for Resistor, Heater, Blower Motor, plymouth & dodge.

Tilar

That part number doesnt show up on anything I have for 68 through 71. I came up with the same number that Chatt69chgr did for a 69.

God must love stupid people; He made so many.

Section 24 is the ac section but I don't find the number or the illustration you indicate there Danny.  The only number I can find is the same as Tilar and Chatt69chgr. :shruggy:
The number on the e-bay part is a more recent number, it may worth a quick call to the dealer and ask about the 2936103 number and see if it supercedes to the 4114599 one.

The part number I listed wasn't on the illistration, it was refrenced on the page describing the illistration.

Text page 24-3

Its under section 24-24-67
The first part is for the resistor, then it list 2 others for auto temp control, and no auto temp control.

Or am I not looking at the right part on the page? I could have sworn it was the resistor on page 24-4 illistation.

Okay I see part of my mistake now. The part number I listed is for a Belvedere, which would be for a Plymouth not a Dodge.

I would have thought so. Do you have the parts book as well? do you see the part that I'm talking about?

69_500

Do you see section 24-24-67 listed?

This is going to drive me nuts. This is what always happens to me, and then it leads to nothing more than hours of staring at papers, and not accomplishing anything other than coming accross something else that I had never noticed before.

Ghoste

Yes, now I see it only you were right the first time.  It's listed for an R and a W so Dodge and Plymouth B-body are both covered by the same one.

69_500

Okay sorry to hijack the thread, but can someone explain what the other 2 part numbers listed in the same section are for then? There are parts for auto temp control, and without auto temp control? If there is one for each option, then what is the first part number for? I mean either you have an auto temp control, or you dont right? What other option is there?

Oh and side note, I found the 2936103 in the parts manual, but I couldn't find it anywhere on the pages in the larger dealer parts manual.

Ghoste

The other two are for the C and Y bodied cars and the 2936103 number is for a non-ac application.  So 69chargerboy, the number you want to check with the dealer and see if it supercedes to the e bay one is the 2837813 number.
