I saw that as well with the vin, I think there was a pic of the fender tag with an xs vin but he listed the xp one, something is whacked :slap:

Either that or he's as dumb as f***. He thinks theres 31 R/Ts left in the world.....I can see him screwing up when posting the vin ::)

bull

In his defense he does say there are only 31 left "on the planet" but he doesn't specify which planet he's referring to.

I think he meant that there are 31 currently for sale.  :icon_smile_big:

I asked this question: The seller did not answer any questions.

Sorry, the owner told you there is "31 left on the planet!!" is full of it.. There was 69,142 made and 20,057 were R/T models. There is not 31 left. More like a few thousand left. I guess there is 31 left on planet ebay?
Heres the production stats:
http://www.1969chargerregistry.com/stats.html
The VIN # you have listed does not match. One is R/T one is standard charger. Also, is the car one of 31 on the planet because the special numbers on the trunk weatherstrip?

Response:

Please understand that I dont care what you have to say based on the way you opened the communication. So please dont try and be helpful as I know your intent is otherwise.

Too bad Ebay won't let you post smileys, the guy could have just posted this --> <--instead of typing all that.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I had sent him a question about the car, but no response yet. Maybe he is thinking that it is 1 of 31 left in the color combination that he has. That is the only way that I can come up with only 31 left.

I only have 23 R6 R/T's in the registry (one of them mine)  :shruggy:

I got 4 on mine. That makes it 27 :shruggy:

I don't like the math going on there. odds are that the 4 in your list are already in the 23 that chris has.

I couldn't come up with anything else that would make sense on the "only 31 left" comment. Other than possibly the color/engine combination. Because I know of well more than 31 4 speed R/T's.

Forget the car, now I'm wondering if Cody will have more than 31 responses in this thread alone. He's up to 7 now, and 8 after he replies with his usual "" to this post.

ps- Is there two 1969 Charger Registries now?  :shruggy: There's only one I would go to. www.1969chargerregistry.com
