chargerrt, that's the exact look I'm after.  Do you know what the backspacing is on your rears?  My new 8.5's are 3.5" backspacing and I'm worried there won't be enough room.  My current wheels are 8" but 4.5" b.s.

Well, the rims were on the car when I got it, so I can't be 100 % positive.  Whenever I go home for a weekend (maybe sometime this month) I'll be happy to take one off, measure the backspacing, and PM you with the size  :yesnod:

In the meantime, here's another picture  :2thumbs:

Well, they roll real nice.  They are 15" 60 series.  Brand new, came with car, but are going bye, bye.  :icon_smile_big:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Those look pretty good. I'd rather have round tires than oval ones though. :icon_smile_big:

I'd like to see one with those cartoonish NASCAR tires. The ones with letters from the rim to the road. It might look cool.

I seriously doubt I could find that email and I know I don't remember what you told me. However, it looks to me like you've got 275/60-15s on the back. Am I right?

I'd like to run the same thing as you but I guess we'll never see 295s in the BFG T/As again. :flame:

I know, I saw that too. But when you call one of the stores that carry them they say they are on backorder and have been for a long time. The place I called said there were only three 295/50-15 tires in the nation at their stores which included America's Tire and Discount Tire at least.

4forty

wow, that sucks....I got mine about 2 years ago, great tire, I guess they are getting rare! probaly devoting factory space for 20"s & 22" gangsta dougnuts

bull

I just called BFG corporate to ask them what was up and they said the next scheduled production date on the 295/50-15s will be June 2008. So if and hopefully when they start making them again they'll have to fill all the backorders first and then possibly restock the shelves. Of course the guy on the phone couldn't tell me if they really are going to start making them again (he's just reading off a computer screen) so we'll have to wait until June to know for sure I guess.
